About the principal

The practice principal, Dévan Rajendran, graduated in 1986 and has developed a dual clinic and academic career. In addition to private practice, Dévan has always remained in teaching, lecturing and clinical tutoring in several of the osteopathic schools in the UK and Europe. He is also a founding member of the Research Working Group at the European School of Osteopathy, where he currently works in their Research Department and as a clinical tutor. Dévan remains actively involved in research and is an honorary research fellow of the University College of Health Sciences, Campus Kristiania, Oslo, Norway and is on the international advisory panel for the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine; details of his research is listed here.

Dévan is regularly invited to lecture and teach a variety of clinical and academic subjects at under- and post-graduate levels both within the UK and internationally. He also runs CPD courses in trigger points needling and psychological techniques to manage a variety of conditions such as pain control and anxiety. Dévan also acts as a civil expert witness for medico-legal cases and professional conduct cases, which he has done so for over 10 years.
